Few days ago, I saw a girl was playing Rubik’s Cube in the bus while going home. It had been such a long time since I saw a Rubik’s Cube. And a very long time since I saw some one that are so good with Rubik’s Cube.

She seem very pro in solving Rubik’s Cube because she was rotating the cube so damn fast. I didn’t really know whether she solved it or not. Maybe she just pretend to be good by spinning and rotating it damn fast. Then, most peoples in the bus will look at her and admire her godly skills.

But I believe all the guys in bus was looking at her because she is quite pretty also. One guy even sit closer to her and look at how she solve the Rubik’s Cube. But again, I believe that guy just want to stare at her, not that little cube.

Whether she is good or just pretending to be good, she had manage to capture my attention for a while. And give me a comic idea.

Few days ago, I submit 3 flag designs for the U.O.X PLAY x Pipit’s HOWDE project. The submitted flags will be exhibit during the Celcom UOX Play event. This is quite a good way for designers to promote their own artwork. But I made a minor mistake, I forget to include an URL to my website in my design.

Today is the event day, so I went to Capsquare with my brother to check out the event. Upon reaching nearby, the friendly guards welcome and direct us to the parking space. So, my brother drive his car there. Then, this dude came out and ask us to pay RM10 for parking fees. WTF man?! I think those guards might be working together with that dude. Maybe to get some extra cash for their teatime donuts.

Maybe because of the location, the event is not really crowded. The most crowded area is the place where people set up booth to sell their designs, handcraft, tshirts.

Someone singing on stage. Too bad, not many people around.

The UOX booth, selling Celcom UOX package and some other stuff.

Selling handmade toys. Quite nice, but my only RM10 is use to pay the parking already.

Interesting.

All the flags are here.

My first design - Republic of Mother Earth

My second design - Dog Eat Dog Nation

OMG! Mushroom Management

PS: I took all my flags photo in weird angle to avoid the sun light reflection.

Today I went to KL damn early for the Adobe Cool Stuff 4 Launch. It is Tuesday morning, so I thought it might be not that crowded. But I am wrong, it seems that a lot of lazy peoples skip work or class for this event.

Upon reaching there, I sms momochi to met up with some other lowyat.net forum members. We registered and throw our small registration paper to the “lucky draw” golden bowl. Everyone is hoping to win that RM10k Adobe CS4 Master Collection at the end of the day.

The presentation from Tim Cole, Karl Soule and Paul Burnett is damn good and interesting. The crowd is laughing and cheering most of the time. But I am not going to blog about what they present here. Because I believe if you are interested, you should have already attend the launch and know how good it is. So, I am going to blog about other stuff.

Just before the lunch break, there was a short session from Nvidia and HP to talk about their products. Quite interesting I must say. I am not talking about the HP workstation or Nvidia Quardo card. I am referring to the attendees there. While this HP dude was promoting on the brand new HP workstation, peoples just start to stand up and leave. How cool is that! I mean how rude is that! I understand that it is boring to listen to that sales talk. But looking at HP and Nvidia being the platinum sponsor for this event, I choose to sacrifice my lunch time a bit. Oh well, maybe other people values their precious lunch time more.

Karma always work and it was proven just now. Because one copy of Adobe CS4 Master Collection had been won by a lucky dude that choose to stay (No, not me). Those that left earlier, don’t even know that it had been won until they came back from their lunch break.

I am so damn tired now, I think I will blog in point form from now on. Below is a list on interesting incident

I didn’t win the lucky draw.

Met with fellow lowyat.net forum members, Momochi, Rames, Etsuko, Hermainie, Doinkz_gaara, Technophile…

Met a friend Darry.

Took the wrong bus while going home, nearly went to “Holland”.

Saw a damn pretty girl while going home, I think it is damn worth it now to take the wrong bus.

Maybe I am seriously damn tired, that why I am using so many “damn” word.

Oh Wow! I get a CS4 goodie bag.

Recently, I received some chocolates bars from someone. Not sure why “someone” give me chocolates at this time of the year, but all will make sense if you had been following the “China Milk Scandal” news.

Apparently, I think “someone” is just afraid of consuming milk related product and give all this potential hazardous chocolate to me. A smart move I would like to say. If you happen to have some high risk milk related product, you can just give it to other people as a gift instead of throwing them away. So, you will not only free yourself from the risk of melamine poisoning. But other people will be so thankful to you as well. It’s like hitting two birds with one stone.
